But don’t just listen to God’s word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves. James 1:22

I believe in my spirit we have more of preachers and listeners than doers of the will and word of God.

It is good to preach the Word of God, so it can give life and freedom to those who are still living in slavery of the rulers of this world, and to those who need to grow in the things of the spirit. But there has to be a doing before the preaching, if we really hope to make an impact on lives, like it was said of Jesus in Acts 1v1

How do we become doers of the word?

Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do.
Joshua 1:8 NLT

For the Word to come alive in us and our lives to become expressions of the Word, we have to;

1. Study continually
2. Meditate day and night
In meditating, understanding will come and we know what part to play, then we
3. Carefully do those things we understood from the Word
4. Then by those actions on the Word, we prosper in what we do, according to the aspect of the Word applied

Doers of the Word(those whose lives are expressions of the Word) are carriers of God because in John 1v1, it is revealed that the Word is God

God is looking for more of doers than listeners. This is because the only environment that is conducive for God to operate in is a life patterned according to His Word.

We need to realise that we are the ‘Christ’ of our generation, so we need to actively manifest God’s plan and intentions through our Life (the God kind). People need to see God through us.

Let’s all need to wake up to the position of doers and not just listeners and preachers of the Word of God
