Be ready with a meal or a bed when it’s needed. Why some have extended hospitality to angels without ever knowing it! Hebrews 13:2 MSG

A common misconception widely spread on the face of the earth is that they have grown to believe that angels and other Elohims are supreme beings with wings, all glowing with a ring roundabout their head. They come in the form of a man and can shapeshift into any format that they want. Majorly all around the scriptures, Elohim(Heavenly/Celestial beings) comes in the form of a man. We can see this in Judges 6:22(NLT) – When Gideon realised that it was the angel of the Lord, he cried out, “Oh, Sovereign Lord, I’m doomed! I have seen the angel of the Lord face to face!”.

Genesis 32:24- “This left Jacob all alone in the camp, and a man came and wrestled with him until the dawn began to break.” This man like we all know was God Himself in man.

Also in Joshua 5:13 – When Joshua was near the town of Jericho, he looked up and saw a man standing in front of him with a sword in hand. The man here is Christ Himself coming revealing himself as a Man of War.

Judges 13:10 – The woman hurried to tell her husband, “He’s here! The man who appeared to me the other day!”. Judges 13:6,10,11

A Man!.

The visitation of your Next Level or your promotion wouldn’t come like manna from the sky; it comes with your receptiveness and warmth to strangers. Yes, strangers come with blessings, but many people today have this very ill attitude and character. When someone you haven’t met comes to you, you can’t discern what news the person carries. You are being approached, and not the slightest welcome comes out from your lips. Some people don’t care who they talk with; The first thing that comes out of their lips is “Who is this”. Really? Although some people are always scared of falling as victims to the evil ones; that’s where your fire from your secret place vindicates you.

From our text in Hebrews 13:2, it says we should be ready with a meal or a bed. What I would liken that too is, we should be of good character and always prepared for any manifestation. Being prepared (the meal) is what you have to offer(your skills, the works of your hand), something must go up – a sweet savour of offering – before the manifestation of that which he has promised comes to you. (Judges 6:20-21 – The angel of God said to him, “Place the meat and the unleavened bread on this rock, and pour the broth over it.” And Gideon did as he was told. Then the angel of the Lord touched the meat and bread with the tip of the staff in his hand, and fire flamed up from the rock and consumed all he had brought. And the angel of the Lord disappeared.)

You’ve prayed and cried to God for open doors for answer prayers, you have toiled the ground, now the time to sow something, to sacrifice something, to let go of certain things, we fall short of it. The painful part is sometimes God isn’t asking for much, he’s telling you to drop the attitude, that habit, that proud full and egotistic heart. Yet you keep missing it.

Being broken and selfless (the bed) is the most important. It’s only a true Christian, a lover that can take in a stranger; this is what is missing in the body of Christ in today’s Christianity, there’s no Love found in many people.

It’s time to recalibrate yourself, become more receptive and be of good virtue. Because the starting point of your visitation to your next level depends on your preparedness.

I pray for anyone who has fallen short of their visitation. Due to certain flaws that have kept you,  there shall be a recovery and another opportunity for your next level. To attain to that place, you’re destined to be. Every flaw and ungodly acts that have kept you down is at this moment broken. Receive your Liberation and your Victory in the Mighty name of Jesus Christ I pray thee. Amen
