The Seed

The parable of the sower is one of the most important parables. Jesus used the parable of the sower as an illustration in the bible{Luke8vs4-15 NLT}
A parable is a story on two levels; a physical level that everyone can understand and a spiritual level revealed only to those with a willingness to listen to the spirit.

They are four different places in which the seed fell- by the Wayside, Rock, On thorns, lastly on a Good ground..The amazing thing is, they all received the seed but they all had different results.

BY THE WAYSIDE -some of this seeds fell by the way side, “Jesus said these are the ones who hear, then the devil comes and take away the word out of their hearts, lest they believe and be saved.
The seed is the word of God, for some of us the devil takes the word out of heart filling it with unbelieve so that this word does not produce result….The bible says this are the ones who ” hear” but it doesn’t produce result in their life.

ROCK- Some of the seed fell on the rock, it sprang up but withered quickly because there was no moisture…some are eager to hear the word but no power to sustain it; Jesus said these are those who when they hear, receive the word with Joy and they have no root, who believe only for a while and in time of temptation fall away.

THORNs- some fell among thorns and thorns sprang up with it and choked it…Jesus said “this are the ones who when they heard it, go out and are choked with care, riches and pleasures of life and bring no fruit to maturity..This words just stay with them without producing result..

GOOD GROUND- Others fell on good ground, sprang up and yield a crop- a hundredfold. This ones are the ones that havin heard the word with a noble and good heart , keep it and bear fruit with patience.

After Jesus said this parable He cried because it is given to us to know the mystery of the Kingdom of God.

As believers we must be intentional in our work with God

Keyword- The seed which is the word is looking for good grounds to germinate in”.
