“THE REPROBATE MIND”

This is a mind that is totally hostile towards God and the things of the Spirit. The mind is an advance technology God created and put into man to help along with his soul to interface between the spiritual and the physical realm. The mind of the fallen man is deceitful and extremely wicked. Jeremiah 17:9. This is because immediately Adam ate of the fruit in the garden he handed dominion of all of God’s creation including himself to Satan. Hence, Satan (the deceiver) has access to the mind of man. Lodging his nature in the mind of man.

Satan knowing the powerful tool/technology called Mind. Decided to create a stronghold in the mind of Man. This is were all evil perpetrated on earth is conceived.
2 Corinthians 10:4-5 TLV “…but powerful through God for the tearing down of *strongholds*. We are tearing down false arguments 5 and every high-minded thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God. We are taking every *thought captive* to the obedience of Christ”. Evil Thoughts are rebel spirits. They are spirit beings manifesting in the mind of man disguised as thoughts. They are responsible for the evil thoughts man conceives in the mind. They try to gain expression on earth through man. The Kingdom of darkness can inhabit itself in the heart of man. It’s called “Strong Hold”. These ones are casted out only by prayer and fasting.

A ‘reprobate Mind’ is hostile towards God. This is the darkest place to be as a human. It is a pit of destruction that is non responsive even to the Gospel.
Simply put a reprobate mind is a conscience that has been seared. 1 Timothy 4:2 No longer responsive to God or His Living Word. My fear is that so many Christians are in this category. Majorly out of ignorance. Practicing religion even to their own detriment. Going to church yet comfortably living in Sin. “Although they are fully aware of God’s laws and proper order, and knowing that those who do all of these things deserve to die, yet they still go headlong into darkness, encouraging others to do the same and applauding them when they do!” Romans 1:32 TPT

Even as a believer, We need to constantly wash our minds thoroughly with the Word as most earthly information we feed on is a contamination to the kind of Mind God wants in us. God wants us to have a Mind of Christ. Philippians 2:5. Love the things of Christ. Set our affections on things above not earthly lots. Colossians 3:2.

Keyword
The Kingdom of God also finds its expression on earth through the Heart of Man. This is why we need to submit the mind to God.
