All the devil (Satan) has ever been interested in is your God-given power and authority over the earth; he has always wanted your ability to rule and subdue the earth. The power to rule and have dominion over everything God has created has always been your inheritance as children of God.

“Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.” Genesis 1:28

But, the fall of man (when Adam and Eve disobeyed God’s commandment) at the beginning of time made all humankind lose their God-given identity to rule and have dominion over all things on earth ever since humanity has been struggling to find his way back to his original Identity.

We are meant to live like kings and queens ruling over everything God has created and not the other way around. And the devil recognises this your God-given identity, so it has always been his sore aim to take it from you (to subdue and rule over you).

“The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly” John 10:10. The thief here is no other than the devil himself.

But be of good cheer Jesus has redeemed and defeated the devil and his agents John 16:33. The blood of Jesus has saved us to our former glory and identity as kings and queens over all God has created, and our identity to have dominion over the earth has been restored.

“Behold, I have given you authority to tread upon serpents and scorpions, and overall the power of the enemy: and nothing shall in any wise hurt you” Luke 10:19

All you need to do today to get back your identity as kings and queens is to accept Jesus as your Lord and saviour, live a Holy life and begin to live like kings and queens which you are.
