THE HELPER

The helper

It is so amazing how you think you know someone, in reality, you don’t know anything about that person. It isn’t about your deduction about someone based on some facts you were able to gather about that person, but having had some level of relationship with the person and you still find yourself knowing nothing.

You may have a knowledge of the person of Christ and His mission here on earth from a personal relationship or from good words you may have heard, and then believe; yes, I know who God is. But the truth remains you haven’t even scratched the surface.

I had a personal experience when a friend and I were discussing the person of Christ.
I was so filled with the spirit and spoke with boldness and a knowledge of who Jesus Christ is and his mission here on earth. I was quoting and making references to the scriptures that I believed in my heart that yes, I know who Jesus Christ is.
Shortly after that incident, I found myself at the beginning. I was like a child still trying to grasp who the Father is.

Yes, Jesus Christ came to show us who the Father is and also to reintroduce to us the kingdom of heaven which was once lost due to the sinful nature of man, but we still can’t comprehend our place in the kingdom plan by our limited understanding. Except for the help of the Holy Spirit. Then we can have some degree of comprehension of who the Father is and the role we are to play in reconnecting back to the father.
The holy spirit reveals to us the mysteries of heaven and gives us a better understanding of what the kingdom is about.
Indeed, our human mind cannot comprehend the whole mystery of the kingdom of God. Still, God always reveals himself in different ways to those who believe in him that no matter how limited we are in our knowledge you can yet have an understanding of who God is and our place in the Kingdom of God by the help of the Holy Spirit.

“But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you”. (John 14:26)

So, all we need to do is to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit, and we can come into the position of sonship and our inheritance in Jesus Christ. (Roman 8:16).
