SALVATION – What’s Freedom?

Definition of Freedom

the state of not being imprisoned or enslaved.

Christianity’s best-kept secret

So definitely, if we weren’t in bondage, then there is no need for freedom. Salvation means so many things to so many people, religion, tribes, etc.

– Some believe salvation means to make Heaven or paradise.

– Others Believe salvation means to escape hell.

– again some believe salvation means to be among the chosen few to meet Christ.

There are lots of opinions, ideologies, theories. However, the Holy Spirit began to give me a real insight into the meaning of our salvation. Salvation means freedom from something. I.e., we were held captive before but have now received freedom. Jesus didn’t die for Man to make Heaven (As difficult as this might be for some to digest), He came to restore something that was lost. A man had something in the very beginning, and Man lost something in the beginning. Jesus Christ came to restore, reconcile, redeem what was lost. (Luke 19:10, Colossians 1:13-14) you can’t restore what was never lost. Man lost something. A man was never in Heaven; you don’t restore what was never there in the first place. You only restore what was lost.

Image of Christ (God)

Genesis 1:26 “Then God said, “Let Us (Father, Son, Holy Spirit) make man in Our image, according to Our likeness [not physical, but a spiritual personality and moral likeness];…”

Man lost the image of God. Jesus came to die so that we may receive again in this mortal body, the Agency of restoration that causes us to be exactly like Christ (God) again. That Agency is Called the “Holy Spirit.” You see! Without Him, you can’t even have the image of Christ 2 Corinthians 3:16-18 “, But the moment one turns to the Lord[a] with an open heart, the veil is lifted, and they see. Now, the “Lord” I’m referring to is the Holy Spirit, and wherever he is Lord, there is freedom. We can all draw close to him with the veil removed from our faces. And with no veil, we all become like mirrors who brightly reflect the glory of the Lord Jesus.[d] We are being transfigured[e] into his very image as we move from one brighter level of glory to another.[f] And this glorious transfiguration comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.[g]”

The Spirit of Christ is the refining factor in salvation.

– He causes us to be Christ-like. To think, say, act, do like Christ.

– He delivers us from the warps mentality of this current fallen age.

– He delivers us from the corruption, decadence, and values of this world that would all soon fade away.

Let us allow this God-given Agency to bring us into the true meaning of salvation. Let us allow Him to do the work to which He was sent. Lets us stop resisting Him so that He can have free reign to prepare a people for the coming of Christ. – transforming the light of the just into the perfect day of Christ. (Proverbs 4:18)

Let us surrender to His Guidance and leading of what true Christianity is all about. Let us Love Him so that He can bring into our hearts and mind the true meaning of God’s Word.

Meaning of salvation

Salvation means to be transformed into the perfect image of Christ unto the perfect day of meeting The Christ. If not, why then the Holy scriptures say to work out (i.e., to continue a process) your salvation with fear and trembling. (Philippians 2:12).

PRAYER: Father, I surrender the totality of my being to Your Agency (The Holy Spirit) so that I may be transformed into the perfect image of Christ at the meeting of My Lord. Amen pray

WORD FOR MEDITATION

John 14:16-18 TPT “And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another[a] Savior,[b] the Holy Spirit of Truth, who will be to you a friend just like me—and he will never leave you. The world won’t receive him because they can’t see him or know him. But you will know him intimately because he will make his home in you and live inside you. “I promise that I will never leave you helpless or abandon you as orphans—I will come back to you!
