Dominion over sin

Rom.6.14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace. (KJV)

Sin had dominion over Gods people because they where under the law, they where living by the law not by grace (receiving Gods righteousness into your life that God may live through you)

Without the law sin was dead! They didn’t know the law was what made their sinful nature to be manifested! Sin is first a nature then the law help manifest that nature, because your nature is who you are. Whether there is a law or not!

Rom.7.9 For I was alive without the law once: but when the commandment came, sin revived, and I died. (KJV)

Rom.7.12 Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good. (KJV)

Rom.7.13 Was then that which is good made death unto me? God forbid. But sin, that it might appear sin, working death in me by that which is good; that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful. (KJV)

The law was actually not made for the righteous!( 1 Tim.1.9) Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, (KJV)

You don’t give a perfect and holy person a law because he does not have the ability to sin! (1 john 3 vs 9)

God came through Christ, fulfilled the law, cancelled it and gave us his grace (his life) that we the righteous one might
