For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and sound mind.
2 Timothy 1:7.

*All that we need has been given to us in the person of the Holy spirit.*

In 2 peter 1v2, we see that all pertaining to life and Godliness is available to us through our Knowledge of God and Christ

The Holy spirit is the source of knowledge of everything that pertain to God, His Christ, and His will, for who knows the mind of a man except his spirit? So also the Holy spirit searches the mind of God and reveals His will.(1 cor 2v10-11)

The Holy Spirit has been given to as many who believe in Jesus Christ as Messiah( Mark 16:17-18.), and He fills us with love, power and peace, and self control (2 Tim 1v7)

The Holy Spirit gives us power so we can function here on earth as true sons of the our Father who is the Almighty. So we have power over all principalities and powers here on earth and in the secret places because we have the Holy Spirit.

Look, I have given you authority over all the power of the enemy, and you can walk among snakes and scorpions and crush them. Nothing will injure you Luke 10:19.

Also He gives power for effective witnessing i.e backed up with signs and wonders (acts 1v8)

The Holy Spirit fills our hearts with the Love of God so much that our Love for God and our neighbors comes naturally.

And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love (Romans 5:5.)

The summary of the commandment is Love and the Holy Spirit helps us in the fulfillment of the laws, will and commands of God which we can’t do ourselves.

The same Holy Spirit gives us sound mind which is the peace of God. Challenges, problems, difficulties are part of the things that could make one’s mind unsound or unstable, but through it all, the Holy Spirit will give us clear reasoning, strength and peace to keep on going in the storm of life.

Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6‭-‬7.

The Holy Spirit works on our minds(emotions, thinking, actions), guiding and shielding our minds from being overwhelmed by the issues of life.

Thank You, Father, for not giving me the spirit of fear, but of power, of love and of sound mind.
